googling Google

Today I spent my time looking into Google maps. I created first of my own map. It was pretty fun. I am really impressed how innovative Google is turning out. They have evolved a great deal in the past few years.

The good thing about there approach is they always put the product on to the market and let the user community to evolve it according to there needs. It’s a win-win situation for both google and the user community. Google does not have to mature the product on there own; which saves them lot of time and energy trying to understand the user trends. And for the users, we are free to customize the product to our wimps and fancies. It provides the users to morph the product how they want and when they want without being tied down. I personally feel its more than customization, its like customization 2.0

Hey, on a lighter note, customizations give guys like me the pleasure of developing without the development process.
